Welcome to Hawkrigg B&B, Bed and Breakfast, Far Sawrey, Near Hawkshead, overlooking Lake Windermere.

Hawkrigg is a beautifully situated Country House which enjoys stunning views of Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes. Perfectly placed and within easy reach of Hawkshead, Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and the Grizedale Forest. Hawkrigg is in the heart of the Lake District National Park and is an excellent base from which to explore all that the Lake District has to offer.

Our Facilities

All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen televisions/dvd players. If our superb cumbrian breakfast isn't enough to keep you going for the day, packed lunches are also available on request. Our lovely relaxing garden, overlooking Lake Windermere is available for you to enjoy. We are an animal friendly b&b and welcome any well behaved pets. We also offer free parking and also free wifi access.

We are situated just a short walk away from 'Hilltop' the famous home of Beatrix Potter. We have easy access to the Windermere Lake, Car and Passenger ferry. Whatever activities you pursue, you can be assured that Hawkrigg is the perfect base for your Lakeland adventure.
